Tonal finish and re-voicing of an organ’s individual stops (voices) is crucial to artistic work in organ building. It determines the individual sounds and potential application of single stops in harmony.

Voicing breathes life and soul into the organ, giving it vitality. It demands both great artistic skill and musical sensibility. Sensitivity to the qualities of the existing ambient sound is a further basic prerequisite for successful voicing. These qualities must be rounded out by a comprehensive knowledge of the potential use of individual stops in the liturgy and in improvisation that can be gained from specialist literature on organs.

I can only develop a coherent sound concept that satisfies your needs and wishes together with you. My work is always based on an open dialogue with you, so as to achieve the best possible results in a shared process.
